Storm warning downgraded to winter weather advisory

Tuesday, January 29, 9:00 a.m.

A winter weather advisory is in effect over portions of north and west Georgia today.
Some snow accumulations are likely. There is still uncertainty regarding amounts of snow accumulations, however up to an inch of snow is likely, with more possible at higher elevations.
Residents living at elevations above 2000 feet should exercise extra caution and plan on slippery road conditions after sunset. Very cold temperatures are expected Wednesday and Thursday mornings with wind chills in the teens or lower.

Amenities will open at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning with the exception of Duffer’s and the golf course. The Clubhouse and Golf Pro Shop will be open regular business hours.

Contractors will be permitted entry through the gates effective immediately.
