An elegant Valentine dining experience is yours

Can you feel it? Romance is in the air! On the night of love, that being Valentine’s Day, Chef Tulio and his culinary staff are preparing an intimate feast just for you. Specially chosen wines will complement the four courses as night falls in Big Canoe.
Guests will mingle in the Clubhouse Gathering Room at 5:45 p.m. where trays of spooned parmesan scallops will be passed. Feel the love with live music from violinist Art Shand, accompanied by glasses of Brut Champagne from California that will bring the driest of bubbles to eager lips.
When the clock strikes 6:30 p.m., guests will be asked to make their way to their seats for the next course in Mountains Grille. A “Love Salad” of baby spinach, hearts of palm, strawberries, roasted pine nuts, and curly carrots served over radicchio leaves drizzled with a smooth raspberry vinaigrette will bring the second course to the table. Served with the salad will be glasses of Fleur de Mer Rose from Provence.
When the entrée is presented, dining guests will enjoy duo elements on their plates. All diners will be presented with grilled Chateaubriand under cabernet demi-glace, and then a choice of a lump crab cake or a chicken breast stuffed with creamy brie and apples will be offered. Both second choices are accented with a parmesan cream sauce. Sharing honors with the entrée will be a colorful blue tipped asparagus medley and a serving of creamy crimini risotto. The entrée will be paired with pours of Talbott Pinot Noir from the Sleepy Hollow Vineyard in California.
The evening’s meal will be capped with a truly decadent dessert – glazed strawberries in Bavarian cream nestled in a dark chocolate cup. The fourth and final course will be sharing the spotlight with glasses of Atelie Brachetto d’Acqui, a cheery sparkling wine from Italy.
After dinner, get ready to dance the night away with live music from Dave and Don.
