On opening day for the Pickens County Toys for Tots drive, the Big Canoe Woodworkers’ Club donated 100 wooden puzzles to the local Toys for Tots campaign. Several members made the puzzles under the guidance of Brian Beals with Pickens Puzzles LLC, also a member of the club. Others in the club donated wood for the puzzles.
The public can donate toys at the Toys for Tots headquarters, 660 East Church St, Jasper, across from the Ace Hardware store.
Unwrapped new toys may be dropped off on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Drop off boxes are also located throughout the county.
