Talk about a hen party! When the chicks of Big Canoe’s Singles’ Supper Club meet to greet and eat, the din can be daunting. Everybody has something to share, all of it most fascinating.
Once a month the gals meet for supper, either in a home or a restaurant. With 50 members strong, that can be quite a gathering!
From visiting vineyards to tossing inflatable balls at an indoor beach party, monthly themes keep gatherings interesting with something to keep all entertained. With such a big group of singles, there’s always somebody to meet for a movie, enjoy the newest dive for dinner, or attend local functions. It used to be difficult for singles to find each other in Big Canoe’s couples’ scene, but not anymore.
On July 18, the club will celebrate summertime with an evening picnic at the home of Lori Ellis. No ants are invited, we promise, but single women certainly are.
While the Supper Club’s roster boasts single ladies, sometimes single men are invited to join the party. Single guys are invited to the August 20 Safari Photo Scavenger Hunt at Canoe Lodge. The safari will start at 4:30 p.m. when teams are set to scour the community for items to photograph. Yeah, the usual “take a picture of a mushroom growing on a log” will probably be on the scavenger list, but teams might also have to camera capture the oldest member of the team with the longest hair kissing a fish. Now, that could be a real challenge and certainly open to interpretation!
If you’re a single guy and would like to get an official invite to the safari, contact Alice Eachus at firstname.lastname@example.org or (706) 579-2531.
Single ladies, to get your name on the Singles’ Supper Club email list for really good times, contact Nancy Hunter at email@example.com.
