North Georgia Vets welcome sounds of music

The North Georgia Veterans July meeting/luncheon will be Wednesday, July 12 at 11:30 a.m. in Mountains Grille, Big Canoe Clubhouse. The guest speaker will be Jaye Budd, founder of The Alchemy Sky Foundation. Jaye will provide a presentation about the foundation’s music therapy program for nursing home veterans who reside at the VA Medical Center in Decatur, Georgia.

The Alchemy Sky Foundation, a non-profit organization, brings the healing power of music to those who need it. Jaye’s mission is to leverage business leaders, health professionals, and music teachers to unleash the power of music in order to connect and heal people.
An avid musician, Jaye has recorded his own songs which speak to the power and resilience of the human spirit.
