Singles’ Supper Club celebrates Valentine’s Day with panache

Did you know there are more than 200 single ladies who call Big Canoe home? Fifty of those chicks are part of the Singles’ Supper Club, but there’s always room for more.
Each month the group meets for dinner, or sometimes lunch or brunch, they’re pretty flexible and always has a good time sharing adventures, sometimes relating to singlehood.
A February Valentine Brunch was hosted by Janie Block and Sue Munsen at Janie’s cozy, Ralph Lauren inspired home. With mimosas and Bloody Marys to warm things up, ladies were treated to a “heart-y” breakfast buffet, including a unique Grits Bar which offered grit toppings that would make Scarlett swoon.
The next gathering will be an outside dinner at Sourwood on March 14. The gals meet mostly in each others’ homes, but sometimes wander off the reservation. To reserve a place for the March dinner, contact Nancy Hunter at
